that’s what pacific means; ‘peaceful’. we all know now, in the most horrific way, just how far from peaceful this ocean can be. they’re a resourceful bunch, the people of japan, and they’ll rebuild. they’re good at that, japan; re-building. they’ve had a lot of practice. they’ll need it.
