neo-burlesque, by ian teh

the new issue of deep sleep, an online quarterly magazine based in shoreditch (well dalston actually) and in cyberspace. this is a new publication started by a group of young london photographers who needed an outlet for their personal work and to provide a similar outlet for other photographers. each quarterly issue is themed around a pre-announced topic, and contributions invited for the next issue on the forthcoming topic.

the current theme is ‘dance’ and has yielded a very varied and open interpretation of the subject. the next edition’s theme is ‘memory’

contributors to the current ‘dance’ issue include:
vanessa winship, tamara dean, katy chan, ian teh martin scott-jupp, and james harris
