under the british government’s increasing paranoia about the terrorist threat and the mounting discretionary powers given to the police, it is becoming more and more difficult for photographers, whether professionals working on commissions, artists, serious amateurs, hobbyists, or even tourists, to take photographs on the streets of the uk, without being hindered or prevented from doing so, by over-zealous police officers and security guards.
